Edinburgh International provide three broad areas of training
Edinburgh Internationals training capacity is greatly enhanced by the facilities at our training centre in Northern Florida:
"Ares" training facility: Remotely situated on 70 acres, this complex has housing for 100 students, meals on site, classrooms, planning rooms, offices and integrated range facilities.
"Atlas" full service FOB: Supports training, mission preparation, logistics, operations management and support. The complex includes the ATS office, classrooms, secure storage, a full service airport with 4500 ft runway, hanger, 25M range, & 14 certified DZ/LZs.
"Argus" 40 acre training area: Located along the Apalachicola River - 1,800 ft of which is river front. A 250,000 sq.ft. covered warehouse is available for various scenarios and includes a basement with 14 foot ceilings. Argus has 31,000 square yards of pavement.
"Acropolis" boatyard: Located adjacent to the Apalachicola River. This site allows for a variety of training options including live fire, force on force, land, sea, and air operations training. The creation of real-world targets are also possible depending on client need.
"Achelous" River borne environment: Located on 75 miles of the Apalachicola River. This site provides a river borne environment that can be used for all types of subtropical training exercises. Realistic targets are available as well as navigation training areas - both shallow water and deep water accessible.
"Tates Hell Swamp": A very challenging subtropical environment. Including both land and water areas, Tates Hell provides a flexible environment that can be used for all types of subtropical training. Realistic targets are available as well as land and water navigation lanes.
"Apalachicola Forward Operating Base": An airport that lies two miles North-West of Apalachicola. Three 5,800 foot concrete runways are available. G-MAC provides ease of access to a realistic tactically deployed site.
"Atlantis" maritime training area: Located on the Apalachicola Bay. This site offers tremendous flexibility in water borne assault and defence training. Open water as well as river-mouth areas are available for any type of maritime training operation.
