Natural disasters often create environments that are extremely difficult to work in. Sometimes these environments can also become dangerous due to violent human activity.
In September 2005 Edinburgh International deployed 180 personnel to New Orleans, in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. We conducted activities such as damage assessment on behalf of clients and provided physical security to client personnel.
Edinburgh International has teams on stand-by for the hurricane season and other natural disasters. However if you wish to take a more proactive approach, Edinburgh International can carry out contingency planning with you to put in place standard operating procedures ready for any eventuality. For a small retainer, Edinburgh International can also offer you a dedicated Crisis Response and Facilitation Team (CRAFT) with specialist skills such as Damage Assessment.
