Evacuation

Edinburgh International provides evacuation services, from anywhere in the world, for individuals or groups. Our rescue teams benefit from a wide suite of communications mechanisms and the highest level of support from our International Operations Room, to ensure they have the resources they need, when they need them. On the ground, each team is lead by a highly experienced crisis manager who brings the right combination of drive and diplomacy to ensure all official and cross border negotiations are swiftly and positively resolved. An evacuation manager is dedicated to the mission until successful conclusion. Remaining with the party throughout simply makes the difference between success and failure.

Evacuation Services can be considered in three broad categories:

• Evacuation from Crisis: Whether caused by natural disaster or human actions, when individuals or groups become trapped, Edinburgh International provide rescue teams capable of rapid deployment and recovery of clients.
• Medical Evacuation: When egress from a difficult environment is complicated by medical incapacitation or the requirement for constant treatment, Edinburgh International provides specialist medical rescue teams to safely evacuate the casualty to the desired medical facility.
• Repatriating Deceased: When individuals die in challenging environments, the repatriation process can be extremely difficult and long. Edinburgh International will provide an evacuation manager and any other resources required to escort the deceased to their home quickly and with care.

Edinburgh International is experienced at coordinating evacuation services at short notice and in the most trying of conditions. Recent examples include the evacuation of client personnel from Sudan, Lebanon and New Orleans, in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Evacuation services can be deployed on an as-needed basis or on a more cost effective subscription basis if appropriate.
